VEGA: A Campaign for Fizik
VEGA is our latest collaboration with Fizik — a campaign that reimagines a road cycling shoe launch through the lens of alien abductions, secret technology, and the unexplained. Set against the strange mythology of Area 51 and inspired by the symbolism of Close Encounters, the mood of The X-Files, and the offbeat energy of early Playstation ads, VEGA was built to feel mysterious, cinematic, and just a little unsettling.
Shot over three days in the California desert, the production pushed us in all the right ways — especially when it came to filming long overnight sequences. One of the biggest creative challenges was striking the right balance between the surreal and the clean: we wanted to lean into the weird and atmospheric without losing sight of the product. So we wove crisp, minimal product shots into a world full of flickering lights, strange silhouettes, and warped perspectives — all designed to keep the viewer guessing.
Rather than tell a straightforward story, VEGA hints at something bigger, something just out of reach. There’s no clear message, just a series of moments that invite curiosity. It’s the kind of campaign that makes people ask, What is this? What are they doing? — and that’s exactly the point.
