F23 Hike & Camp

A photo and video campaign for mountain Hardwear's soft goods.

Some productions require months of meticulous planning, while others are pulled together in the eleventh hour. In the case of Mountain Hardwear's F23 Camp and Hike campaign, unforeseen challenges left us with a tight timeframe. We were tasked with executing a cold weather campaign in early June. With a heat wave on the horizon, we utilized our local knowledge of the Washington coast to create the photo and video assets for this fall campaign.

It's always amazing when a group of talent immediately gels. For this production, it was essential that our talent felt comfortable together and were able to share authentic moments as a group. Within minutes of meeting, this assembly of strangers turned into fast friends.

The creative for the video asset stemmed from a series of photos shot on film by Luke Webster during a visit to the Washington coast in his college days. That body of work evoked a nostalgic draw to slower times, moments savored, and sunsets cherished. It was that emotional response that we aimed to elicit and we'd say we nailed it!
